    The workflow of communication and information sharing should proceed according to the diagram bellow, in order to allow a proper workflow. It is mandatory that project decisions are transmitted from the project manager to the BIM coordinator which, with his BIM knowledge and alongside with advice from the BIM manager, will define priorities, tasks and assignments to modellers.
    The level of knowledge and capacity of each team member should also be taken into account.

  • A01. Introduction

    BIM means Building Information Modelling. A BIM model is a digital construction of the project that allows a more efficient and coordinated project, where each team brings one piece of the puzzle.


    A BIM project has a big cycle that goes along with all project phases, needs and building life cycle.


    There are several BIM softwares, in NLA the BIM software for modelling in use is Revit. For BIM coordination the softwares NLA has available are Navisworks and Bimcollab Zoom.
